Privacy Policy

What if a story could start with a single line of dialogue? Talevo: AI Character Chat is built for exactly that kind of play: you bring a question, a scene or a spark, and an AI character answers. Everything the characters say is AI-generated fiction, not messages from real people. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your information while you explore. Talevo is provided by Anneloes Bouwmeester ("we", "us"). Effective date: 27.10.2026.

The Short Version, Before the Story Begins

Talevo has no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or password to use the app. To make conversations work, the messages and prompts you write are sent to our own backend so a reply can be generated. Purchases go through Apple, and subscription status is handled with the help of Adapty. The sections below explain each of these in more detail.

What We Collect, and What We Leave Alone

What we may process: (1) The text you type into a chat, such as your questions, scene ideas and character prompts, so the AI can respond. (2) Basic technical and purchase-related information needed to confirm whether you have an active subscription, such as an anonymous app or device identifier, purchase and renewal events, and general app usage signals used for subscription analytics. What we do not collect: we do not create accounts, we do not ask for your name or contact details to use the app, and we do not receive your payment card details, because Apple handles payment. Please avoid typing sensitive personal information about yourself or others into a chat. The characters are fictional, and your story does not need real-world secrets to work.

Where the Conversations Happen

When you send a message, it travels to the developer's own backend, where the AI reply is generated and sent back to you. We use this processing only to deliver Talevo's character chat and keep it running properly. Your conversations are not sold.

The Supporting Cast: Third-Party Services

Talevo relies on two outside services. Apple App Store: used to distribute the app and to handle all purchases and subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment and billing information under its own privacy policy. Adapty: used, where enabled, to keep track of subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active, renewed or expired) and to provide subscription analytics, such as how paywalls and plans perform. Adapty receives purchase-related data and app identifiers for this purpose, under its own privacy terms. We do not use these services to identify you by name.

Paying for More Adventures

If you subscribe or make a purchase, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not see or store your card number or billing address. We receive confirmation of the purchase, directly or through Adapty, so that the app can unlock the features you paid for.

How Long Things Stick Around

We keep chat content and related data only for as long as needed to generate replies, operate the app, support your subscription and meet any legal obligations. Subscription and purchase records may be kept by Apple and Adapty in line with their own retention practices. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your Rights in This Story

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You may also object to certain processing or ask us to limit it. Because Talevo has no accounts, we may ask you for details, such as an approximate time of use or a purchase reference, that help us find the data connected to your device. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings, and uninstalling the app stops any further data from being sent from your device. For data held by Apple or Adapty, you can additionally use their own privacy tools.

Younger Storytellers

Talevo is not intended for children below the minimum age required by the App Store rating and the laws where they live. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

When This Policy Gets a New Chapter

We may update this Privacy Policy as Talevo grows. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Talevo after an update means the new version applies.
